A status red wind warning has been issued for counties Cork and Kerry as Storm Barra approaches Ireland.
It will run from 6am tomorrow until 9pm.

"People should shelter in place before the red warning comes into place," says Keith Leonard, National Director for Fire and Emergency Management.

"Stay at home, or in place and don't go back outside until the red level warning expires", he continued.
There is a Status Orange Wind Warning from 6am for counties Clare, Limerick, Waterford, Galway, Mayo, and Wexford
While that will also apply to Dublin, Louth, Wicklow and East Meath from 8 am.
There is a yellow alert across the rest of the country.
The National Emergency Co-Ordination Group is meeting to discuss the latest information on the approaching storm.
