A unique event which sees participants in a 5k fun run wear sumo suits is due to begin in Bray, Co. Wicklow shortly.
The Sumo Run Ireland gets underway at midday and will see all funds raised donated to Purple House Cancer Support.
The charity provides services including counselling and programmes for children and adults affected by cancer.
