Today FM will be at this afternoon's Dublin Mini Marathon to support the 35,000 women taking part.

They are there to raise funds for 870 different charities.

The advice is to get in line for around 1.30pm.

The 10km event begins at Baggot St at 2pm finishing at Fitzwilliam Square.

In Cork, around 10,000 participants showed up for the 9am full marathon start and 10.45am for the half marathon.

The sun is still shining over both counties as severe rain is set to hit other parts of the country.
