Ireland is making a return to the world of Formula 1 racing.

The Fast Food chain Supermac's confirmed today that they'll be sponsoring a team that will start its campaign at the 2018 Melbourne Grand Prix.

Supermac's boss Pat McDonagh claims he wanted to "supersize" the chains ambitions after sponsoring St Brigid's College in Loughrea in a mini Grand Prix schools competition.

Today (April 1st) they released a video of their Grand Prix super car emblazoned with the company's logos.
