Prayer services are being held in Dallas to remember the five police officers shot dead last night.
The suspected gunman told police he wanted to kill white people.
Juliette Gash reports;
A suspect who was cornered by police after the Dallas shootings told officers he wanted to kill white people.
Five police officers died and 6 were injured when snipers opened fire on police at a Black Lives Matter protest march.
Three people are in custody after the attack.
A fourth man, involved in a stand-off with police, told them he was working alone and not linked to any group.

Police say they killed the man by detonating a robot bomb. Earlier it was thought he killed himself.
It has been a devastating night. We are sad to report a fifth officer has died.
