Gardai are awaiting the results of forensics taken on the car used by the killers of Eddie Hutch Senior in Dublin.

He was killed when four masked gunmen burst into his house on Poplar Row in North Strand on Monday night.

Detectives believe his murder was in retaliation for the killing of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel in Dublin last Friday.
