St Vincent de Paul have launched their annual appeal for donations ahead of the Christmas period.

The society take in around 70 per cent of their public funding during this time of year.

They say that providing help for those in danger of becoming homeless is more and more a part of their work.

And Vice President of SVP Kieran Stafford is appealing for the public's help in doing that.
