Sweden has introduced border controls, as it tries to limit the number of refugees entering the country.
The announcement came on the final day of a two day meeting between African and EU countries in Malta, aimed at stemming the flow of refugees and repatriating others.

Meanwhile, three hundred and eight people have boarded a Médecins Sans Frontières vessel following an earlier rescue mission in the central Mediterranean.
MSF has rescued more than 18,000 people so far this year.
While The LÉ Samuel Beckett has rescued over 600 people since being deployed at the end of September.
Almost 3,000 people are estimated to have drowned at sea since the refugee crisis began.
