The anti austerity Syriza Party has fallen 2 seats short of an outright majority in the Greek General election.
Leader Alexis Tsipras is to open coalition talks later with the small Independent Greeks party.
Syriza swept to victory promising to re-negotiate the terms of Greece's massive bailout. The win now raises the prospect of a stand-off with European creditors and has increased fears of economic uncertainty across the bloc.
It's expected to be high on the agenda for discussions at today's regular meeting of Eurozone Finance Ministers, which Michael Noonan is due to attend.
