Unions representing staff at Bus Eireann are entering talks to see if next weekÂ’s strike action at the company can be averted.
Unions have served notice of an indefinite strike starting on Monday the 20th.
Bus Eireann has said it has to implement massive cost savings – including payroll – if it’s to remain in business.

Bus Eireann has repeatedly said its running out of money. However unions don't accept that they want the cuts to premium pay; due to be implemented by Bus Eireann next week, to be withdrawn.
