Talks to try and solve outstanding political issues in Northern Ireland are expected to begin at Stormont next Thursday.
Northern SecretaryTheresa Villiers set the date following the announcement a panel would be set up to examine a parade dispute in north Belfast.
Meanwhile three Fine Gael MEPs travel to Belfast today to meet MPs and Belfast's Lord Mayor, to discuss the problems currently besetting the peace process.
MEP Sean Kelly said we cannot take for granted that the peace process is embedded in the North.
