The Jobs Minister says the EU will not enter into any trade agreement with the US that would put public policy at risk.
Discussions are being held on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership today, which aims at making it easier for companies in the EU and the US to access each other's markets.
A new report claims the proposed agreement would create between five and 10 thousand jobs in exporting sectors of the economy.
