Tallaght Hospital has apologised for the “unacceptable delay” in moving a 91 year old man from a trolley to a bed last Monday.
It’s after an angry letter from a consultant to hospital management was made public, which criticised the 29 hour wait the patient and his wife had to endure.
This comes as the INMO has revealed that October was the worst month on record for patients on trolleys.
