The Taoiseach and British Prime Minister have spoken about the crisis in the Stormont executive.

Enda Kenny and David Cameron spoke by phone this afternoon.

The crisis emerged after the North's chief constable claimed members of the Provisional IRA were responsible for the murder of Kevin McGuigan in Belfast.
