The Taoiseach has met with the Canadian Prime Minister on day one of his three day visit to the country.
Leo Varadkar and Justin Trudeau met to discuss trade opportunities ahead of Brexit, with annual trade between the two countries currently worth around €2.5bn.
It's expected the Canadian/European Union Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) would also have been up for discussion.
Later, the Taoiseach will head for Toronto to discuss further tourism and business opportunities, after taking part in Montreal Pride with Mr Trudeau.
