The Taoiseach told the Dail this morning of his intention to seek the dissolution of the Dail.
The Dail will resume on March the 10th. But Enda Kenny neglected to give the actual date of polling.
In a show of how very modern we are now, he later tweeted the date, confirming February 26th as the day that Ireland will go to the polls to elect a new Dail.
How very modern!
I am seeking a dissolution of Dáil Éireann today with the election to be held on February 26th.https://t.co/R5JnwC3XFB
