Enda Kenny has asked to correct the Dáil record - and admitted he was in possession of letters between Alan Shatter and the Ceann Comhairle.

The Taoiseach says he told Gerry Adams that he was not aware of any letters between the two, over the Terms of Reference for an investigation into alleged Garda malpractice.

But the Taoiseach now admits that he was incorrect - and that he did actually have a copy of letters between the two.
