The Taoiseach's given his backing to calls for Angela Kerins to go before the Public Accounts Committee next week.
Enda Kenny's comments come after the Public Accounts Committee chairman said he "absolutely expects" Rehab's chief executive to attend a hearing as planned.
However the committee's decided to delay any investigation into the equipment bought by the Gardaí for recording telephone calls.
