The Taoiseach is being criticised for saying that he couldnÂ’t stop the feud between the Hutch and Kinahan family gangs.

ItÂ’s after Gareth Hutch was shot dead in broad daylight in the north inner city yesterday morning.

Enda Kenny later clarified his comments in the Dail, saying he was speaking in a personal capacity.

North Inner City Councillor, Gary Gannon, says people in his area are shocked and angry at the Taoiseach’s comments.

The head of the Inner City Organisations Network, ICON, Seanie Lambe, says people are horrified there've been four fatal shootings within a couple of kilometres in recent months.
