Ahead of a meeting of EU leaders, the Taoiseach says Europe wants to work with Greece to create a sustainable economic future for the country.
Enda Kenny's arrived in Brussels for the first EU Council meeting since Greek left-wing Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras was elected last month.
His government is demanding an end to austerity and wants to rip up its bailout deal with the Troika.
