The Taoiseach says there is a need for a well managed process and strategy to deal with the issue of public pay.

In the Dáil today, Enda Kenny says he stands by the Lansdowne Road Pay Agreement.

His comment comes despite some unions and opposition parties saying it is "finished". 

However, Enda Kenny hinted the Government is open to talks with trade unions on how to proceed to a successor pay agreement:
