The Taoiseach has been urged to say whether he is one of three people who were called to give further evidence to the Fennelly Commission.
The Commission says three witnesses had to be called back for a second hearing, in order to respond to claims made by other people giving evidence.
But the Taoiseach says he is bound by confidentiality - and can't say if he was one of the people called back.
Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams says he can't understand why the Taoiseach won't admit if he was one of those called back.
The commission is due to issue its interim report on Mr Callinan's resignation in the coming weeks.
