The Taoiseach has said he WILL act on serious allegations of Garda misconduct.

Enda Kenny says documents received from Fianna Fáil's Micheal Martin outline grave allegations of Garda mishanding of a series of criminal cases.

Earlier in the Dáil Micheál Martin said the allegations had been raised with the Minister for Justice two years ago, but the minister had failed to act.
