Gardai have arrested a further 4 people in connection with last Novembers water protest in Jobstown in Dublin in which the Tainiste was trapped in her car for over 2 hours.
One of those detained is a juvenile male.
2 men and and woman aged in their 20's and 30's were also arrested in the Tallaght area of Dublin shortly before 7 am this morning.
They are being held at Tallaght and Rathfarnham Garda stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Meanwhile The Taoiseach has said he has “no comment” to make on accusations of “political policing” from Paul Murphy and the Anti Austerity Alliance.
Dublin South West TD Murphy was arrested - along with three other anti-water charge activists yesterday - in connection with that protest which saw the Tánaiste trapped in her car for over 2 hours last November.
Paul Murphy and the three other men arrested were all released without charge - with files to be sent to the DPP.
Enda Kenny says it's entirely a matter for the Gardaí - and has nothing to say to accusations of a politically-motivated arrest.
