The Taoiseach has caused a stir after he attended a function in a Dublin gay bar last night.

Enda Kenny dropped in on Fine Gael's LGBT Christmas party in Panti-bar last night, causing heated discussion online - with some calling it a publicity stunt.

Owner of Panti Bar, Rory O'Neill, who's alter ego is drag-queen Panti, tweeted a picture of the Taoiseach along with Fine Gael TD's Jerry Buttimer and James Reilly.

Director of the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network, Brian Sheehan was also there.

And he says it sent a good message;
