The Revenue Commissioners are praising the public for the "exceptional" rate of compliance with the property tax.

94 per cent have paid last year's tax - with 90 per cent complying with the 2014 charge so far.

However they've given a stark warning to those yet to pay - who they say are "cheating their neighbours".
