A TD has raised eyebrows in the Dáil - by referring to a party colleague as a "quare wan".
Mick Wallace used the phrase to refer to his Independents-4-Change colleague Clare Daly.
The pair were in the Dáil this afternoon as party leaders gave their speeches on Budget 2017.
Clare Daly sounded less-than-impressed with the introduction, but seemed not to take offence.
