A teenager is to appear in court charged in connection with an incident in which a stolen van crashed into a number of vehicles in Dublin.

An Eircom van was taken from St Stephen's Green last night and collided with a number of vehicles before coming to a stop outside Burchill's pub in Ranelagh.

Two people in the cars that were hit were taken to hospital and four people were arrested over the incident.

Gardai say an 18-year-old woman was charged and released on bail, while another young woman was released without charge.

Another man is still being questioned.
