A 19 year old man has died in a traffic accident in County Donegal.

He was a passenger in a car that left the road at Tooban near Burnfoot at about 4.30 this morning.

A second passenger - a 19 year old woman - is in a serious condition in Letterkenny General Hospital following the crash.

The 19 year old driver is also being treated for his injuries.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are carrying out an investigation and diversions are in place.

Meanwhile in County Cork, Gardai are seeking witnesses to a crash which claimed the life of a 41-year-old man whose motorcycle collided with a car at Ballinrush near Kilworth at 4 p.m. yesterday.
