A three year old child and a teenager managed to escape a house fire in which a woman died in Sligo.

Fire crews and gardai were called to the house on White Strand View in Aylesbury Park just after 9 last night.

A 34 year old woman died, and two boys aged 3 and 18 survived without injuries.
