A teenager has died after being knocked down by a car in Dublin last night.
The 16 year old boy was hit by the vehicle near the junction of Tolka Valley Road and St. Helenas Road in Finglas at around 11.30 last night.
He was taken by ambulance to The Mater Hospital but was pronounced dead early this morning.
The car's driver and passenger were both uninjured.
