A teenage girl from Dublin who was swept out to sea by a freak wave at Hook Head in Co Wexford last weekend has died.
The girl was winched to safety by the rescue helicopter - along with a teenage boy.
Both of them were taken to hospital where the girl remained in a critical condition.
The Air Accident Investigation Unit has launched an investigation into the incident.
An appeal has been made to any members of the public who may have video footage of the rescue to come forward.
