A 17-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a shooting in Dublin’s south inner city.
It happened on Eugene Street at around 11:55pm last night.
The teenager was shot a number of times as he was getting into a taxi.
He was taken to St James' hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
A Black Hyundai I30, which was bearing registration plate 07 TS 4838, was found out burnt out on Greenville Avenue.
Gardai now want to hear from anyone who may have information about where this car was in recent days.
