Police in Thailand say a series of bombings and arson attacks in the south of the country are being linked to a single person.

A man has been arrested in connection with the blasts on Thursday and Friday, which targeted some of Thailand's best-known tourist resorts.

Four people were killed and dozens wounded.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has advised Irish tourists in the area to 'exercise a high degree of caution'.
