The humble Aran jumper has joined the Wonderbra on a list of iconic fashion items.
The wooly wonder has been included in a major fashion exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Mahattan.
The geansaí is one of 111 items selected because of their profound impact on the world over the last century, it's been loaned by the National Museum of Ireland in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

The exhibition opens at MoMA on October 17th.
