Readers of movie magazine Empire have been having their say.

Star Wars sequel The Empire Strikes Back and The Dark Knight, featuring the late Heath Ledger as The Joker, came in second and third respectively.

The Shawshank Redemption and Pulp Fiction make up the rest of the top five, in the poll of 20-thousand people.
