The search for missing Dublin woman Catherine O'Reilly has been wound down.

It comes after a body was found near Howth Pier in Dublin but the identity of the person has not been confirmed.

The body was discovered in the water during a shore search in the harbour at around 8am this morning.

The coast guard and local gardaí have been involved in the search for the missing 38-year-old.

Her car was found yesterday afternoon at the pier.
