The United Arab Emirates has recalled its ambassador to Ireland, following a ruling from the Employment Appeals Tribunal.
Three women from the Philippines who worked for the ambassador were awarded 80-thousand euro each on last week, after they told the tribunal they worked fifteen hour days, seven days a week for less than two euro an hour.
The U-A-E Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it takes the matter seriously, and has recalled Khalid Lootah while it investigates the issue further.
