One of North Dublin's biggest nightclubs is set to close.

It's been confirmed that The Wright Venue in Swords will close at the end of this month.

The venue will reopen in the next few months under new management.

It's been revealed that the club will be taken over by The Body Tonic Group.

It will run the venue as a games, eatery and events space called Jam Park, which will join its other ventures including Wigwam, Eatyard and MVP.

There's good news for the staff at the Wright Venue, as all of the employees will be offered new positions within Jam Park.

Michael Wright has expressed his gratitude to those that supported his venue over the last few years.

He's said "I’d like to thank everyone that supported us and look forward to seeing Jam Park, Bodytonic’s new venture, thrive as we did. For us, our focus now is the food business. We plan to bring the same passion that made such a success of The Wright Venue to new projects such as St Andrew’s Food Hall."
