There have been a series of arrests across Brussels as police broke up protests by far-right groups and their opponents.

Clashes erupted when youths took to the streets in the suburb of Molenbeek, where a number of the Paris attackers had been based.

Police also removed people in the Place de la Bourse, who were protesting against Islamophobia.

Authorities have banned all demonstrations in the Belgian capital amid security fears.
