Comedian and children's author David Walliams has revealed that letters sent to him by his young fans have been stolen.
The Little Britain star says London's Metropolitan police have informed him his post has been stolen, including a large box of fan-mail sent to his publisher Harper Collins.
He's apologised to his 1.6 million Twitter followers and asked fans to write again if they haven't had a reply.
Walliams is one of the biggest names in children'Â’s literature, selling over 12.5 million books worldwide.
His books, including Billionaire Boy, Gangsta Granny and Ratburger, have been translated into 46 languages.
