'Daniel has a rare genetic disorder called Sotos Syndrome.'
'He is one of only 60 in the world with this severe condition. This causes Daniel to have severe intellectual disability, epilepsy, visual impairment, sensory issues, no speech and challenging behaviour.
'He finds it very difficult to engage with others. Daniel has daily struggles but always has a beautiful smile and his infectious laugh brightens up any day.'

Sinead started out walking with Daniel and then light jogging and when she stopped he started banging his head so she continued and they haven’t stopped since.
Running has become her therapy and Daniel loves it, which is why they can't wait to run the gruelling Dublin Marathon on Sunday.
Daniel will have his own race number – this means a lot to Sinead as it gives him his own identity.
