Thousands of people paying their respects to the family of Karen Buckley in Co. Cork this evening.

The 24 year old graduate student was murdered in Glasgow earlier this month, having gone missing on a night out.

O’Connell’s funeral home in Mallow opened an hour early this afternoon to allow mourners to attend, and a large queue has formed around the corner.

The removal will take place tonight to the Buckley family’s parish of Annaleentha, where the funeral will be held tomorrow.

A 21 year old man has been charged with the murder of Ms Buckley and has been remanded in custody.
