Thousands have taken part in a demonstration in Dublin city, to show their support for refugees seeking asylum here.
The rally was organised by the Irish Anti-War Movement, who are calling for an end to violence and the civil war in Syria.
The demonstration also addressed the concerns of some, who feel that taking in refugees will divert limited resources from Irish people.
