Ten-thousand Palestinians took to the streets of the West Bank overnight to protest at the 17-day conflict in Gaza.
Two were killed in clashes with the Israeli military as rocks and petrol bombs were thrown, while tear gas and water canons were deployed.
The protest came hours after 15 people were killed when a UN-run school in Gaza was hit by an artillery shell.
An Israeli army spokesman has suggested militants firing rockets near the school could have caused the deaths.
