People across the country turned their eyes to the sky this morning to catch a glimpse of the most dramatic eclipse in more than fifteen years.

Cloud cover meant there were varying degrees of success, with visibility best in the south of the country.

Special glasses and telescopes with solar filters were used to look at it.
