Met Eireann has issued a snow-ice warning for all of Ireland.
The weather forecaster is advising of wintry showers across Ulster, leading to accumulations of snow on hills and mountains.
Wintry showers can also be expected in Connacht and West Munster by this evening, extending eastwards in to Leinster by later tonight.

Meanwhile, any motorists taking to the roads tonight are advised to take care.
