Two men and a woman have been arrested after the seizure of guns and €500,000 worth of cocaine in Dublin.
At around 4.30am today Gardaí, carrying out a Covid-19 checkpoint on the Phibsboro Road tried to stop a car, which took off at speed.
Following a chase, the car crashed into a wall at Essex Quay.
One of the occupants was then seen throwing an object into the River Liffey, two guns were later found.

Eight kilograms of cocaine valued at around €500,000 was also discovered along with cannabis herb.
The two men and one woman were arrested at the scene and are being held at three Garda stations across Dublin city.
