Three men have been arrested by gardai investigating a house fire that killed a father and his young daughter.

The incident took place in Co Kerry over 10 years ago.

29-year-old Anthony O'Brien and his five-year-old daughter, Nadine, died in the fire at Kileen Heights in Tralee on 12th May, 2012.

Anthony's body was found in an upstairs bedroom with Nadine in his arms after firefighters had extinguished the blaze.

Nadine's mother Kelly escaped the fire through an upstairs window, suffering a broken leg in the process.

This morning, gardaí confirmed three men have now been arrested in connection with the fire.

A man in his 30s was arrested in June of this year and was released without charge with a file being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions

Two men in their 40s were then arrested by gardai this morning and are being held at Tralee and Killarney Garda Stations.
