A 24 year old man has been charged in connection with a car jacking at Dublin airport yesterday in which 4 people were injured.
The incident happened at around 3:40 yesterday when a man in his mid-60's was loading the boot of his car when he was assaulted by a man who got into the driver's seat and drove off.
Another driver tried to stop him but was knocked down by the car.
Airport police alerted Gardai and the car was later stopped on the Ballymun road, and a man arrested.
A Guard was also injured during the arrest. He was taken to James Connolly Hospital for treatment and has since been released.
The arrested man will appear at the District court later this morning.
